New York—U.S. online leisure and unmanaged (small and midsize corporate) business travel revenues will total $77.7 billion this year, a 19.7% increase compared with 2005, according to a report from eMarketer, a market research aggregator. However, the rate of growth is expected to slow down. Year-over-year sales for 2007 are expected to increase 17.6%, and by 2009 year-over-year growth will increase by 15.3% to $122.4 billion.
