Chicago--Tribune Co., the No. 2 U.S. newspaper company, said Tuesday it expects fourth-quarter earnings to meet Wall Street expectations as revenue climbed 7% percent in November.

Overall revenue in November was $446 million, compared with $419 million a year earlier. Year-to-date, revenue was up 2%, Tribune said.

Publishing revenue in November climbed 2% to $320 million, while advertising revenue increased 2% to $247 million. Broadcasting and entertainment revenue was up 19% to $119 million.

For 2003, Tribune expects earnings per share to climb in the low-double-digit percentage range.
