Tribune Media Net to offer new print ad formats

Chicago—Tribune Media Net, the ad sales unit of Tribune Co., will launch a marketing campaign this month to promote new print ad formats, including watermarked logos and cascading stairs. The new ad formats coincide with enhanced color printing capacity at several Tribune papers. "We wanted to provide a unique set of ad types that are new and fresh—treatments that have never been seen before in newspapers," said Dana Hayes, Tribune Media Net senior VP-sales and marketing, in a statement.
