TripAdvisor launches first national TV campaign

Newton, Mass.—Online travel site TripAdvisor debuted a national television campaign, the first in the company's 13-year history. The campaign, “Bubbles,” highlights the green bubbles TripAdvisor uses for customer reviews on its website. The campaign includes two 30-second TV spots, with additional spots planned for later in the year. It is supported by online media. TripAdvisor worked with several agencies on the campaign, including Supply and Demand, New York, for production; Hill Holliday, Boston, for broadcast media planning and buying; and CrossMedia, New York, for digital media planning and buying. Billings were not disclosed.
