Twitter group 'TweetChat' planned for direct marketing job hopefuls

Published on .

Owatonna, Minn.—Direct marketing recruiter Jerry Bernhart is planning a virtual information exchange focusing on direct-marketing employment opportunities, using the emerging Twitter application TweetChat.

Scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 2, at 8 p.m. ET, the online chat is "a natural extension of the use of social media to help those who are looking for their next career opportunity in direct marketing," said Bernhart, principal of Bernhart Associates Executive Search. "TweetChat is like texting, but a whole lot faster and easier."

The TweetChat session will be an opportunity for participants to ask questions, share ideas and get advice on job leads, résumé preparation, interviewing tips, salaries, finding candidates, job offers, counteroffers, job descriptions and sources of direct-marketing hiring, Bernhart said.

Participants must have a Twitter account to participate. Sign-in information is available at www.bernhart.com.
