San Francisco—Twitter has introduced tools that provide advertisers improved ways to match their promoted tweets with search keywords.
According to Twitter's Advertising Blog,
advertisers now can match Promoted Tweets with keywords or phrases, as well as trending topics. Marketers now can select exact match, phrase match and basic keyword match, as well as target negative keywords they don't want appearing next to their ads in Twitter results.
In addition, Twitter has rolled out a tool for importing keywords from such platforms as Google AdWords and Bing Ads, to find relevant tweets.
