San Francisco—Twitter has launched an expansion of its TV targeting suite, allowing networks and brands to connect with Twitter users already engaged with TV.
Through Twitter's conversation mapping technology, networks and brands can promote Tweets to users who engage with specific shows, whether or not a brand is running a spot in the program. The service allows advertisers to reach Twitter users exposed to sponsorships and other innovative TV tie-ins for an additional touch point or message expansion, the company said in a statement.
Earlier this month, Twitter expanded
its analysis Twitter social engagement with TV broadcasts in both the U.K. and Spain.
