Twitter, LinkedIn integration to enable posts to appear on both networks

By Published on .

San Francisco—Twitter and LinkedIn announced a partnership that allows users to share status updates across the social networking sites.

Under the integration deal, which was announced Monday, users can link their Twitter and LinkedIn accounts so that posts appear on both networks.

“LinkedIn has always been about helping you to build your professional identity on the Web,” said Allen Blue, VP-product strategy and co-founder of LinkedIn, in a blog post Monday. “Now you can amplify those messages by broadcasting them to your audience on Twitter.”

The integration features will be rolled out to users over the next few days, he said.
