U.S. Marketer exchange to target marketers

U.S., an Internet exchange aimed at marketers in disciplines ranging from direct marketing to consulting to media planning, has launched. The exchange ( allows execs to do searches for marketing vendors, put out requests for proposals and sign deals online. U.S. is targeting a fragmented but mammoth marketplace: The $500 million U.S. marketing industry consists of some 165,000 vendors.
