U.S. Marketer exchange to target marketers

U.S. Marketer.com, an Internet exchange aimed at marketers in disciplines ranging from direct marketing to consulting to media planning, has launched. The exchange (www.usmarketer.com) allows execs to do searches for marketing vendors, put out requests for proposals and sign deals online. U.S. Marketer.com is targeting a fragmented but mammoth marketplace: The $500 million U.S. marketing industry consists of some 165,000 vendors.
