UBM Asia to launch second China Leadership Development initiative

Hong Kong—UBM Asia, which operates trade shows, magazines and other b-to-b marketing vehicles throughout Asia, completed this month the first installment of its China Leadership Development Program. The initiative is designed to develop the skills of Mandarin-speaking executives in UBM's businesses in China.

UBM plans to launch its second China Leadership Development Program in March. “Our investment in our people and our continuing efforts to raise their skills levels to international standards is a core—and fully integrated—component of our global business strategy,” said Philip Chapnick, group chief representative for UBM in China, who oversees the program, in a statement.
