San Francisco—Social analytics company Union Metrics has upgraded its professional Tumblr analytics tool with new features and has also launched a basic free solution.
Subscribers to the professional version of Union Metrics for Tumblr, which provides reports on interactions and influencer analytics, can now track followers of their blogs. The product also now provides integration with Google Analytics, giving users access to metrics about their blogs' Web traffic as well as engagement with their content.
In addition, Union Metrics launched a free Tumblr analytics tool that includes such engagement metrics as post and notes counts, trends over time, follower counts and metrics on individual posts. Union Metrics' Tumblr analytics customers include Hyatt Hotels, sportswear company Puma and Yale University.
