Atlanta—United Parcel Service of America today announced new multiyear sports marketing agreements with IMG College and the Big Ten and Pac-12 athletic conferences. “Through these new alliances, UPS secures one of the largest sponsorship profiles in Division I college sports, opening the door for exciting b-to-b growth opportunities with the conferences and individual schools, along with an unprecedented range of marketing, advertising, branding and hospitality assets,” Ron Rogowski, UPS VP-sponsorships and events, said in a statement. The relationship with IMG College, a collegiate marketing and brand management company that is a division of IMG Worldwide, provides UPS sponsorship opportunities with 68 IMG university partners. The opportunities include TV, radio and digital. Under the terms of the deal, UPS and the UPS Store are the official logistics, package delivery and retail business service provider for the schools. UPS' agreements with the Big Ten and Pac-12 provide similar marketing rights with each conference, plus tickets and hospitality for UPS customers and employees.
