UPS rolls out UPS Ready for third-party providers

Published on .

Atlanta—Aiming to strengthen its brand among third-party providers such as merchants and business service providers, UPS has rolled out a new program called UPS Ready.

UPS Ready combines programs—previously known as UPS Online Compatible Vendor Program, UPS Product Provider Program and UPS Service Provider Program—under a single umbrella.

The service enables companies to integrate UPS technology applications and services into such customer solutions as shipping and tracking.

Participating companies include eBay, Yahoo! Small Business and Sage, formerly Peachtree Accounting. UPS is marketing the new program through its Web site, vendors’ Web sites, trade shows and its sales force.

More information about the program is available at www.ups.com.
