San Francisco--Upside magazine, which covers the intersection of finance and technology, announced Tuesday that it is introducing a new design and new departments with its September issue.

The magazine, which like most tech publications has struggled in the wake of the Internet implosion, will feature new editorial, including departments devoted to key topics from venture capital and finance to economic development, enterprise software and infrastructure.

The content is intended to provide C-level executives with insight about business solutions and opportunities.

"The new look of Upside emphasizes the traditions that have built Upside magazine, including our mission to write about areas of growth and opportunity," said recently hired Editor in Chief Lester Craft.

The new look will feature a return to the magazine’s “provocative and classic concept covers,” according to a press release.
