USWeb/CKS, AdOutlet.com add industry veterans

San Francisco--USWeb/CKS said Tuesday it has hired former Ogilvy & Mather partner Kathryn Campbell to head its brand-building services. Campbell's title will be director of brand strategy and research. The move underscores San Francisco-based USWeb/CKS' commitment to expand the portfolio of services offered to clients. Meanwhile, AdOutlet.com, New York, named former Video Networks executive Virginia Kraus to the post of chief marketing officer and senior VP-business development. It also appointed Philip Mussman to the post of senior VP-print sales. Mr. Mussman was previously advertising director for Esquire. AdOutlet.com is an Internet start-up designed to facilitate business-to-business advertising on the Internet, providing inventory management, campaign management and transaction services.
