CRN's controlled circulation will remain the same. VARBusiness subscribers who do not currently subscribe to CRN will be placed on a waiting list.
"Technology vendors are investing their marketing resources in very targeted fashions and having two print products in a market that can be served by one big brand like CRN no longer make sense," Robert Faletra, CEO of Everything Channel, said in a statement.
In the coming months, the State of the Market, State of Technology Reports, VARBusiness 500, Partner Program Guide and Annual Report Card will be published in CRN and on the ChannelWeb Network.
Ten positions, or about 5% of Everything Channel's workforce, are being cut as a result of the restructuring, the company said. —Sean Callahan
