‘Variety’ debuts social networking site for entertainment professionals

Los Angeles—Variety on Wednesday introduced The Biz (www.variety.com/thebiz), a social networking site for entertainment professionals.

The Web site was developed in association with Jobster, an online career network.

The Biz users can upload profiles, photos, portfolios and videos to connect with each other. The site also offers a vehicle for employers to recruit new talent and target candidates based on specific interests, skills and experience.
