Mountain View, Calif.--Computer storage vendor Veritas Software on Monday launched an integrated corporate branding and direct mail campaign. The company will reportedly spend in excess of $10 million on the global effort. The development of the campaign predates the arrival of CMO Jeremy Burton, who joined Veritas a month ago from Oracle Corp., where he spent two years as senior VP of product and services marketing. "Veritas is one of the top 10 software companies in the world but probably the least well known," Burton said in a statement. "This campaign is designed to elevate the Veritas brand and highlight our leadership in all aspects of storage software." The campaign, developed by Hill, Holliday San Francisco, was launched with print advertisements in prominent business and technology publications.
