Verklin to leave Aegis Media; Fay promoted

Published on .

New York—David Verklin will step down as CEO of Aegis Media Americas later this year. Sarah Fay, who had been CEO of Aegis’s Carat and Isobar, has been appointed CEO of Aegis North America and will be responsible for the agency’s operations in the U.S. and Canada.

According to BtoB sibling Advertising Age, executives familiar with the matter said Verklin is expected to lead Project Canoe, a consortium of cable operators that is attempting to create a set of universal metrics for video on demand.

Aegis also announced that it has created a new business unit, Aegis Media Latin America, which will be overseen by Mainardo de Nardis, CEO of Aegis Media Global.
