Veronis Suhler Stevenson to buy Tranzact for $185 million

New York—Private equity firm Veronis Suhler Stevenson announced Thursday that it has agreed to acquire Tranzact, which provides customer acquisition marketing services, for $185 million in cash.

VSS is purchasing the company from Halyard Capital. Tranzact’s existing management team, including Chairman Marc Byron and President-CEO David Graf, are staying on board.

Tranzact, founded in 2003, focuses on customer acquisition in the financial services and communications industries.
