VerticalResponse adds e-mail tracking and reporting tools

San Francisco—E-mail marketing company VerticalResponse has released a series of new tracking and reporting tools aimed at small businesses and nonprofit organizations to help them gauge the success of their e-mail campaigns. Reporting Dashboard provides graphs and charts to determine which e-mail lists are most productive, which links generate the most traffic, and how different subject lines perform.

Users can choose up to five previous e-mail campaigns from any time period and evaluate the performance, with data viewed over a specific period of time, such as the first 24 hours or in summary totals, of opens, clicks, bounces and unsubscribes. For campaigns with multiple mailing lists, the dashboard provides a view of response rates for each individual list to see how it performed.
