Vignette Corp., Austin, said Friday that it has launched an international brand campaign aimed at building its reputation as a central force in the e-commerce software race. Debuting in the U.S. today and in Europe next week, the campaign depicts business executives ``turning on'' their brains with Vignette software. Vignette eschewed humor or shock value in its advertising. The approach ought to set Vignette apart from many dot-coms, the company said. Vignette's Web site, recruiting materials and trade show presence will reflect the new campaign, the company said. The agency of record and size of the campaign were undisclosed.
