San Francisco—Visa Inc. rolled out an integrated ad campaign, “Go World,” the largest campaign in its 25-year history as a sponsor of the Olympic Games.
“Go World” promotes Visa's sponsorship of the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic games, and includes TV spots and online ads, as well as social media promotions.
As part of the campaign, Visa created a Facebook page that lets users upload photos and video “cheers” that will be part of a contest. Winning photos and cheers will be featured in TV commercials to be shown during the 2012 games celebrating the accomplishments of Team Visa athletes.
TBWAChiatDay, Los Angeles, created the campaign. The budget was undisclosed.
