VNU Marketing Information acquires Decisions Made Easy

New York—VNU Marketing Information Thursday announced that it has acquired Decision Made Easy, a company that helps consumer packaged goods manufacturers manage and analyze the enormous amount of data now available as well as gain supply chain and marketing insights. These data include a growing number of market and supply chain information sources, such as electronic point of purchase from retailers, supply shipments, space planning and consumer behavior and demographics. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
