VNU unit, Shanghai Media Group enter information partnership

London—VNU Business Media Europe, a subsidiary of VNU, announced on Monday that it has signed a partnership agreement with Shanghai Media Group to develop database and marketing information and cross media models for the business information market.

The companies said a key goal of the relationship is to expand the business information market in China, where Shanghai Media Group is involved in radio, television, newspapers and magazines.

VNU Business Media Europe also announced the appointment of Jon Ross as executive director of VNU Business Media China.
