Wall Street Journal Digital Network picks Walia as CTO

New York—The Wall Street Journal Digital Network has named Sarabjit “Ruby” Walia chief technology officer. He will be responsible for directing and managing all aspects of technology for the network, which includes WSJ.com, Barrons.com and MarketWatch.com. Prior to joining Dow Jones, Walia was group CIO of Financial Dynamics, a business and financial communications consultancy in New York. He also served as senior VP-CIO, commercial operations, for NBC Universal and senior VP-CIO for Universal Television Networks.
