‘Wall Street Journal’ names Sippel VP-marketing and business development

New York—The Wall Street Journal on Tuesday named Andrew Sippel VP-marketing and business development, effective Feb. 25. He succeeds David Wachtel, who has left the company. Sippel will work on print and online ad sales, develop new advertising programs, and create new events and promotions. Prior to joining the Journal, Sippel was senior VP-sports and product management for ESPN’s customer marketing and sales operations
