New York—The Wall Street Journal Online announced the launch of Journal Women, a new section devoted to women in business.

The section is aimed at professional and executive women. The content will cover the topics of work and family and the intersection of the two.

Journal Women will also feature The Juggle, a blog on the tradeoffs of juggling work and family, as well as Front Lines, a daily news brief about women making headlines and other women-related issues in the news. The section will also offer community discussion boards, Q&As, videos and polls.

Earlier this week, competitor Forbes.com announced plans to introduce Forbes.com Executive Women’s Network, with original editorial content specifically geared toward female executives.
