The front section is now exclusively devoted to national and international news, while the Op-Ed section has been expanded to three pages.
The Op-Ed section also features new columnists, including L. Gordon Crovitz, former publisher of the Journal, who will contribute a biweekly column titled âInformation Age.â
As part of the changes, the daily book review has returned to the opinion pages.
The changes come soon after the Journal introduced a weekly sports page. WSJ., a new glossy magazine, is set to debut in September.
The Journal also plans to introduce a section on culture, and a major redesign of WSJ.com is slated for fall.
