The campaign, titled âEvery Journey Needs a Journal,â shows how The Wall Street Journal has inspired influential figures in sports, business, entertainment and the arts. Among those featured in the ads are Jake Burton, founder and chairman of Burton Snowboards; Kenneth Cole, founder of Kenneth Cole Productions; Sheryl Crow, singer and songwriter; Steven Levitt, University of Chicago professor and co-author of âFreakonomicsâ; and David Neeleman, CEO of JetBlue.
Ads will run in print publications including Newsweek, SmartMoney and Time,and on Web sites including AOL and Yahoo. The campaign will also run in major metropolitan newspapers.
