London—The Warc Global Marketing Index, which measures global marketing budgets, registered 51.5 in August, flat compared with July.
A score of 50 indicates no change in marketing budgets; a score below 50 indicates a decrease; and a score above 50 indicates growth. A score above 60 indicates rapid growth.
The marketing index for the Americas reached 55.8 in August, up from 55.5 in July. In Europe, the index registered 50.0, up from 49.7 last month; and in Asia-Pacific, the index dropped to 48.2 from 50.0.
