Warc's global marketing index increases

London—Warc's Global Marketing Index rose to 54.3 this month, representing the highest value since Warc introduced the index in October 2011. The Warc GMI is an indicator of the state of the global marketing industry. A score of 50 indicates no change in global marketing budgets, while a score above 50 indicates an increase and a score below 50, a decrease. In the Americas, the index rose to 58.0—the highest regional index recorded so far and an increase of 3.2 points over April. In Asia Pacific, the index increased to 53.8; in Europe, it fell to 49.7.
