Washington Post Co. acquires CourseAdvisor

Washington, D.C.—The Washington Post Co. announced it has acquired the outstanding stock of CourseAdvisor, an online lead generation provider targeting the education field. Financial terms were not disclosed. CourseAdvisor generates student leads for the post-secondary education market. According to the Washington Post Co., more than 1.5 million students currently use CourseAdvisor’s online education directory, CourseAdvisor.com, to match their education needs to degree and certificate programs from more than 500 educational institutions and 8,000 programs.
