Washington Post Co. launches Trove, a customized news site

Washington, D.C.—The Washington Post Co. launched Trove, a free, personalized website designed to aggregate news for an individual's interest.

The company said Trove is designed to account for a reader's likes and dislikes in aggregating content. Trove has the capability to start an individual's personalization by pulling in a user's interests from his or her Facebook profile.

Trove is available on the desktop, Android and Blackberry. Ford Motor Co. is the launch sponsor of the site, which had been in private beta since February.
