Web-site kingpin introduces rental services

Published on .

Leading corporate Web-site management company Maritz Inc. has announced plans to provide an array of Internet business services through a new division. Called Heybridge, the new division will provide rental services for corporations looking to create an e-business strategy, design and develop their site, secure the site and fulfill orders. Key to the services will be supply-chain fulfillment, as manufacturers are currently under the gun to prove delivery services in b-to-b trading exchanges. Maritz, St. Louis, is a $2.3 billion information technology company, which manages more than 400 corporate Web sites for clients. The name Heybridge comes from a town outside of Manchester, England, where 300 years ago merchants were delayed in bringing goods to market by hills and rivers. Merchants and farmers in the area built a road, called Heybridge Lane, to get to market faster.
