Published on .

Denver--Webb Interactive Services Inc. said Tuesday that it has acquired the ability to use Macromedia Flash and extensible markup language in yellow page advertising on the Web. The company plans to release an advertising generation software application by July for use by advertising sales representatives, which will allow them to create promotional messages that scroll or appear in pop-up windows next to directory listings. Perry Evans, president-CEO of Webb Interactive, said the company will partner with yellow page and Internet portal providers to promote dynamic advertisements in directories as a key way to generate sales leads.
