The campaign, with the tagline âThe New Ringy Dingy,â initially launched in January, and revives Tomlinâs telephone operator character Ernestine from the âLaugh-Inâ TV series.
In the campaign, which includes TV, print and radio ads, Tomlin is a global communications consultant who promotes the business benefits of the WebEx conferencing system. The campaign was created by San Francisco ad agency BigMouth.
In a first for the company, WebEx will host an online focus group Wednesday to test various executions of the ads. Participants may sign up for the focus group at www.webex.com/calltheshots.
