WebMethods expands support for security standards

Fairfax, Va.--WebMethods Inc., a leading provider of integration software programs for major b-to-b exchanges, on Wednesday announced that it has expanded its support for open security standards on the Internet. Through the standards, such as Security Assertion Markup Language, XML Key Management Specification and XML Encryption, webMethods will enable b-to-b marketplaces to integrate security services companywide. Traditionally, security has been implemented within a single enterprise.
