WebTrends acquires ClickShift

Portland, Ore.—WebTrends, a Web analytics company, announced Monday it has acquired ClickShift, a search marketing company.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ClickShift will continue to operate from its San Bruno, Calif., office, and CEO John Rodkin will become VP-general manager of digital advertising solutions for WebTrends.

The deal will give WebTrends an entry into search marketing. A new product called WebTrends Dynamic Search is to debut Dec. 11.
