Webtrends links behavioral targeting to e-mail

Portland, Ore.—Web analytics company Webtrends Inc. has launched a new feature that enables e-mail retargeting and segmentation through Web-behavior analytics.

Called Webtrends Email Exchange, the product delivers visitor-level segmentation and automates dynamic retargeting based on such behaviors as product and content views, cart abandons, scenarios completed and search phrases.

The solution integrates with e-mail service provider solutions such as Epsilon, ExactTarget, Responsys, Silverpop and Yesmail. Data from Email Exchange also can be ported to the Webtrends Visitor Data Mart segments tool for creating lists for other campaigns, Webtrends said.
