Webtrends rolls out Facebook measurement tools

Portland, Ore.—Web analytics company Webtrends Inc. has launched new Facebook measurement capabilities within its Webtrends Analytics solution. The new features include the ability to view Facebook data alongside data for other channels.

Marketers can track Facebook performance along with such other channels as Web sites, microsites, blogs and mobile apps. Facebook users can, for example, track incoming traffic from Twitter updates or compare Facebook page activity with corporate blog posts, according to Webtrends.

Using Webtrends Analytics’ RSS overlay capabilities, marketers also can gauge the impact of promotional efforts.
