Former White House chief of staff elected chairman of Intelisys' board of directors

New York--Intelisys Electronic Commerce, a global business-to-business electronic-commerce company, announced Erskine Bowles, former White House chief of staff, has been elected chairman of its board of directors. Mr. Bowles is currently a general partner with Forstmann Little & Co., New York, and managing director of Carousel Capital, Charlotte, N.C. He will retain those positions. According to a statement issued by Intelisys, Mr. Bowles will play an active role in the overall strategic direction of the company. Intelisys' b-to-b partners include IBM Corp., Armonk, N.Y.
