Wildfire introduces social media measurement tool

Palo Alto, Calif.—Social media marketing company Wildfire Interactive has debuted a tool that tracks the activity of companies, brands or products on social sites Facebook and Twitter.

Social Media Monitor enables marketers to compare fan and follower growth of various social mentions on a single Web page for their own companies as well as competitors, to identify leaders in these categories and to spot trends over time, according to the company.

The product provides weekly e-mail alerts for continued comparison and options for sharing findings. It plans soon to provide information about Facebook and Twitter Places activity, Wildfire said.
