Wiley-Blackwell to introduce online climate change resource

Published on .

Hoboken, N.J.—Wiley-Blackwell, the scientific, technical, medical and scholarly publishing unit of John Wiley & Sons, Tuesday announced an agreement to create a new online publication in collaboration with the Royal Meteorological Society and Royal Geographical Society.

The online publication, “Wiley Interdisciplinary Reviews Climate Change,” will debut in 2010. It will cover a number of topics, including climate modeling, climate economics, climate change mitigation and the ecological impacts of climate change.

Wiley Interdisciplinary Reviews are hybrid publications that combine features of traditional reference works and review journals in an online format.

Wiley-Blackwell was formed in February 2007 as a result of the acquisition of Blackwell Publishing by John Wiley & Sons and its merger with Wiley’s scientific, technical and medical business.
