World Color Press names Angelson chairman-CEO

Published on .

Montreal—World Color Press, formerly known as Quebecor World and which emerged from bankruptcy last month, announced Monday that it has named Mark Angelson chairman-CEO.

Angelson had been nonexecutive chairman of the World Color board. Jacques Mallette, who had been World Color’s CEO, is leaving the company.

Angelson was the CEO of R.R. Donnelley from 2004 to 2007. “My first priority will be working with our sales force to further strengthen our customer base,” he said in a statement. “I will simultaneously lead an assessment of our operations and management and make recommendations to the board with a view to optimizing our business in the current challenging economic environment.”
