Worldata releases List Price Index

Published on .

Boca Raton, Fla.--Permission-based b-to-b e-mail remains the highest-priced category among rented lists, according to Worldata, which released its quarterly List Price Index on Wednesday.

The April 2004 average price is $283 per thousand e-mail names and addresses, an increase of $5 per thousand compared with the same period last year.

Additionally, Worldata found that postal lists for business magazines and controlled-circulation publications--which had an average price of $140 per thousand--increased on average by $5 per thousand in April 2004, the first increase in two years, it said.

Worldata tracks eight to 10 lists in thirteen categories. The lists are culled from several different list managers in the industry, a third of which are Worldata-managed lists.
