Published on .

Fremont, Calif.--Supply chain software company WorldChain Inc. has named David Allen, former Dell Computer Corp. VP-worldwide operations, as its CEO. Allen will guide all strategy at WorldChain, while former CEO-President Larry Miller steps back to the president-COO role. WorldChain claims it can deliver a collaborative supply chain to a manufacturer in 90 days, and that the system will return 500% of the cost through reduced costs and increased revenues in the first year. It recently raised $32 million in venture funding to boost development and beef up sales and marketing.
