WPP’s KBM Group acquires iBehavior

Richardson, Texas—WPP’s KBM Group announced Wednesday it has agreed to acquire iBehavior, which tracks consumer and business transaction data. The company’s cooperative database includes more than 8 billion transactions representing more than $280 billion in off- and online purchases.

With the deal, KBM Group hopes to expand its offerings for its parent company, Wunderman, and for its sibling companies: Kantar, GroupM and the Media Innovations Group. The Jordan, Edmiston Group represented iBehavior in the deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.
