WPP acquires Taxi creative agency

New York—WPP announced the acquisition of Taxi, a creative agency network based in Montreal. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Taxi will become part of WPP’s Young & Rubicam Brands and will continue to be led by its current management. Taxi co-founder Paul Lavoie will retain his title of chairman, and Rob Guenette will continue to serve as CEO.

Taxi has five offices in Canada, as well as offices in New York and Amsterdam.
