WPP Buys 60% of China's BrandOne Advertising

London--WPP Group, the third-largest advertising holding company in the world, said Thursday that its wholly owned operating company OgilvyOne Worldwide has bought 60% of BrandOne Advertising, one of China's leading direct marketing companies. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Clients of Beijing-based BrandOne include Northwest Airlines, Digital China and Yahoo!
